I am possibly a heavy user of the internet; surfing over 6 hours daily. Often broadband fails to connect or the speed is very poor. Experienced users know some of these tricks so they can manage their connection efficiently and experience Happy Surfing.
The important thing to note is that in most cases its not the internet that's flaky but your own laptop or notebook that's playing its tricks; especially if its more than a year old.
Here are some steps:
2. Run Windows Defender and scan your PC if you have not done so for than 2 weeks.
3. Check for Windows Updates. If there are any install them. You may have to restart your PC.
4. This is the tricky one. Java is used for many purposes. Just in case you missed to update it to the latest version it can play bad tricks on your internet connection. I have experienced this several times. Best solution is to Uninstall the old version & install the new one.
If your surfing experience does not improve then the issue may lie with your ISP but often people miss maintaining their laptop in a proper way.
You can use a CPU Cooler if your laptop is heating up too much. It really helps. The cooler is not costly. You can get one for $5 in your local area.
Leave your comments and questions please You are welcome to add more tips and tricks to improve performance of the internet.
